      About My Consulting Services:

      1. Accurate measuring of flooring needs

Providing accurate measurements is extremely important in the process of evaluating the clients current flooring expenses. We create a report and diagram for every unit, complete with accurate and detailed measurement information. Our diagrams include the correct locations for carpet and vinyl seams, and can reduce the amount of material waste. With accurate measurements our clients are assured that they will not be over-charged for materials.

Accurate measurements for every unit.

Proper seam placements.

Reduce waste.

Control expenses.

       2. Inspection of every unit

We offer our clients an invaluable service where we will inspect every single unit and determine the current flooring conditions, check for any serious problems and create an outline with the most efficient way to proceed with flooring management. Our inspection process exposes any current flooring damage, maintenance problems, and any concerns that should be addressed promptly.  Having this information allows us to help our clients develop a long term flooring strategy that will be able to meet their needs and goals and save them money.

Discover and fix small problems before they become large.

Understand the current flooring situation.

Plan your work, work your plan.

No surprises. Save money.

       3. Maintenance personnel training

Many property owners and property management companies hire people to maintain their properties. We offer a training program to educate maintenance people about flooring. Some of the detailed topics we cover are:

        Performing scheduled inspections
        Recognizing floor problems
        Flooring damage prevention
Preparing for the arrival of flooring installers
Floor preparation techniques
        Proper floor care
Tricks of the trade

When Maintenance people are knowledgeable about flooring,  they are able to save any property owner a tremendous amount of money.  If, due to their flooring training, they are able to prevent just one kitchen floor from becoming ruined, they would literally save the property owner hundreds of dollars on the floor replacement cost. Multiply that by any number and you can easily see the incredible value of maintenance personnel training.

        4. Analyze past and current flooring expenses

We take a long hard look at our clients' current flooring expenses.  Chances are good that they are paying too much for what they are getting. Armed with accurate flooring measurements, we are able to expose the areas where our clients have been the victim of excessive waste of materials, over-measuring, over-charging, or other unwarranted and unnecessary charges that have occurred. We work out a plan to correct the problems.  We can help in many ways, perhaps by re-negotiating materials pricing with flooring vendors, changing a few measurements to reduce waste or switching to similar but less expensive products. The result is a significant long-term reduction of flooring expenses for our clients. We can also streamline management operations by implementing a program to enhance communications with flooring vendors. Our "standardized invoicing" program will "lock-in" a price for materials and labor charges that can't be changed without prior approval by the property owner or management company.

        Eliminate any possible over-charging. Forever.

Compare similar products for quality and savings potential.

Streamline communications with vendors.

Lock out confusion, Lock-in savings

       5. Selecting the right materials

Equally important is the service we provide where we help our clients determine the proper selection of flooring materials. It involves pricing and durability, but also taken into consideration are many other variables, such as, future plans of selling the property. Everything we do is aimed at meeting the long range needs, goals and ultimately the most amount of savings for our clients.

        Durability.
Use the products that will serve your needs.
        Price.
Spend only the amount necessary to reach your goals.

Sometimes there is a fine line between durability and price, and someone has to make a judgment call. We provide our clients with the facts that allow them make smart decisions.

      6. Detailed installation instructions

It is very important that our clients maintain complete control of all aspects of the flooring process in order to save the most money in the long run. For this reason we provide our clients with a detailed instruction sheet for the flooring installers that they will be using. This Important information informs the installers of the guidelines that our clients have pre-determined. Some of the detailed instructions that are listed are:

Acceptable arrival and departure times,

Contact information,

Toilet and appliance procedures,

Floor preparation guidelines,

Approved wood products

Floor repair guidelines and procedures,

Approved transition metals,

Completed job requirements and expectations

Property owners should expect that every flooring installation is done in the exact same way, in every single unit. By simply  making our clients wishes known, every flooring installer hired will know exactly how to complete the job the way that the property owner desires, thus eliminating any guess work or confusion.
